Cancer really sucks. My lil grandson &quot;Baby Isaac&quot; aka my Million Dollar Smile was born with neuroblastoma. I have seen him many times knocking on heavens doors but no matter how sick or how well a beautiful lil smile always on his face. Thanks to God he was healed of cancer a few months back and will be turning 2 years old on Aug 20th. He has not had use of his legs since about 3 months. If you seen him in his lil wheelchair racing down the sidewalk with his older brothers and sister or doing his famous army crawling full speed ahead across the living room floor you would never realize he is just dragging his lil legs behind him. Thanks to your lil girls courage and love for children perhaps my lil grandson is here today because of some new technology that was brought about by your darling angels unselfish courage all the way til the end with her lil lemonade stand. Thank you Alex and your family for allowing you be yourself to accomplish your dreams and not hold you back. We never know why some go and some stay. My daughter was 35 years old when she lost her battle to cancer 5 years ago so I know the lose a child is overwhelming. I believe however that the loss of a young child can be more devastating than the loss of an older child in a weird sort of way. May God richly bless you and each year that goes by as you celebrate lil Alex&#39;s life may you feel her presence and strength to get you through another year. With her work load her on earth I am sure she has a full schedule going in heaven. When I was going with my other daughter to yearly candlelight service after the loss of my other lil grandson Kaleb the speaker said that when you look down and find a penny it is your special child that has gone home letting you know they are ok and they love you. You would not believe how many pennies I have found in the last 5 years from my daughter and the last 4 from my grandson. I am sure Alex has dropped you a few down herself. Thank you so very much for your story and also for allowing me to share mine. Originally from Central NJ, I had followed her story. Yet, being in Maryland for almost 10 years now, her story follows me.
