Upcoming Events

Can you believe that August is here already? We are nearing the end of summer, and turning our attention to the many things on the check list for back to school. Every year when we do this, we always think about the children who won’t be going back to school, or won’t be healthy enough to enter the classroom this year due to their battle with childhood cancer. We know that lemonade stands will become less frequent as we enter the fall and then winter months, but we also know that there are many things we can do to keep the battle against childhood cancer going all year long. Childhood cancer doesn’t hibernate in the cooler months, and neither can we!

Here are just a few of the events Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has coming up in the remaining months of the year.

Strawberry Shortcake

ALSF and Strawberry Shortcake will enlist supporters from across the country to host special Strawberry Shortcake Alex’s Lemonade Stands during the month of September. Along with vouchers for lemonade, all volunteers who sign up to host the strawberry lemonade stands will receive branded materials, the opportunity to receive a product pack, and for each stand that is registered, Strawberry Shortcake will directly donate $50 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Participation is easy, just pick a date in September, a location, and sign up! We will send you more information about holding your stand and when to expect your special Strawberry Shortcake Alex's Lemonade Stand materials.

Lemon Run
On Sunday, November 14, 2010 runners and walkers alike will gather in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park to take part in a 5K to fight childhood cancer. Can’t be there? You can run in your neighborhood on that same day!

L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade

The first annual L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade, was inspired by The Great Chefs Event – Philadelphia and promises to be an epicurean delight.
